Bleach follows Ichigo Kurosaki, a teenager who begins to see spirits and ends up inheriting the powers of a Soul Reaper. From that moment on, he takes on the mission of protecting humans from creatures known as Hollows and guiding lost souls to the afterlife, while gradually discovering more about the spirit world and about himself.
