Vera Jarach, Italian, Jewish, and a Founding Mother of Plaza de Mayo. Her grandfather was murdered in Auschwitz. Her daughter, Franca Jarach, was murdered by the Argentine civic-military dictatorship in Buenos Aires in 1976.
